New York Legends celebrates principal players from the New York Philharmonic, as individual performers of the top rank. This is the eighth release in a 12-CD series, and presents Glenn Dicterow, Concertmaster. The disc features the world premiere recording of Bernstein's Sonata and the Martinu Three Madrigals for violin and viola with Karen Dreyfus. This recording was made to reflect Mr Dicterow's strongest artistic convictions as it surveys the most creative violin music in the repertory.
